Recently, I had the opportunity to participate in an a.casa wedding styled shoot, an intimate event venue in South City in St. Louis. As a wedding photographer, I’ve had the opportunity of capturing countless weddings, both big and small. However it’s always so fun to do a styled shoot with my fellow vendor friends, giving me room to be creative in a low pressure environment.

The Styled Shoot: From A Photographer
From the moment I arrived at a.casa for the styled shoot, I was struck by its versatility. The team behind the shoot curated every detail to showcase the venue’s potential. This incredible collaboration was coordinated by AJCoordinates, a wedding planner duo (Ashley and Elyse) I absolutely love working with. The outdoor tablescape featured soft, romantic florals designed by Snapdragon Studio, paired with modern place settings, creating a balance of classic and bold styles.
One of my favorite elements was the custom stationery and illustrations created by Chelsey Huff, an upcoming stationery designer in the world of wedding design. Her designs added a personalized touch to the shoot, seamlessly tying together the theme and aesthetic.
One of my favorite moments to capture was the indoor lounge area and bar. I had so much fun with our models on the bar area!
