I'm a 30-something homebody living in our fixer upper here in St. Louis with my husband Macklin, along with our two young kids and our two dogs and cat.
Most often I hear from clients that they love working with me because of my calm & relaxing approach, and that I deliver candid moments that they weren't even aware I was capturing.
I can't wait to meet you and document your special day, or the sweet time with your family.
If you ask me, I have a kick ass job
where I get to meet incredible
humans, just with a camera in hand.
01. How I love to spend my free time:
02. If I wasn't a photographer, I would be..
a detective. I am the investigator of my friend group.
03. All of the places I've lived:
04. My comfort TV show/movies
05. My zodiac sign is: Scorpio
06. Music on repeat:
I started my business when I was in high school at 17 years old. I feel very lucky that I knew what I wanted to do with my life from such a young age. I remember telling the school's contracted senior photographer that I wanted to be a photographer as a career, and he basically laughed in my face and told me being successful in photo work was like making it big in the MLBs. Well look at me now, dude!
I've photographed weddings professionally since 2013 and really love the work I do more with each passing season. My favorite part of this job is the people. I've made so many friends along the way, all while doing what I love. I really couldn't ask for more out of a career.
Photography has been in my life as long as I can remember, really. My grandma would take pictures of the big and small moments of my childhood, and then I would help her piece together scrapbooks. While flipping each page, I love looking through the timeline of my life with her, recalling so many memories and the people that were apart of them.
And like so many other millennials, then came the digital camera that would live around your wrist. I would be the teenager who would take my friends out after school to do photoshoots. I'd go home and edit them, and then upload them on MySpace (Did I age myself there?).
Before going full time in my business, I helped a 25 pound cat named Bruno go viral.

02 — Last year I finished doula training for fun. I am a birth nerd and even recorded my birth stories on my favorite podcast, The Birth Hour.
I once found love letters from the 1940s at a garage sale, and then reunited them with the author and her family years later.
