I'm a 32 year-old homebody living in our fixer upper here in St. Louis with my husband Macklin, along with our two young kids and our two dogs and cat.

When I'm not working, you'll find me being a mama to crazy toddlers, at TJ Maxx or Goodwill, reading a book, enjoying an outdoor patio with friends, or watching one of my favorite shows for the millionth time.

If you ask me, I have a kick ass job
where I get to meet incredible
humans, just with a camera in hand.

I started my business when I was in high school at 17 years old. I feel very lucky that I knew what I wanted to do with my life from such a young age. I remember telling the school's contracted senior photographer that I wanted to be a photographer as a career, and he basically laughed in my face and told me being successful in photo work was like making it big in the MLBs. Well look at me now, dude!

I've photographed weddings professionally since 2013 and really love the work I do more with each passing season. My favorite part of this job is the people. I've made so many friends along the way, all while doing what I love. I really couldn't ask for more out of a career.

Photography has been in my life as long as I can remember, really. My grandma would take pictures of the big and small moments of my childhood, and then I would help her piece together scrapbooks. While flipping each page, I love looking through the timeline of my life with her, recalling so many memories and the people that were apart of them.

And like so many other millennials, then came the digital camera that would live around your wrist. I would be the teenager who would take my friends out after school to do photoshoots. I'd go home and edit them, and then upload them on MySpace (Did I age myself there?).

My Story

Before going full time in my business, I helped a 25 pound cat named Bruno go viral.

My husband Macklin and I met when we were 16 and 18, and we got married on my grandma's

front porch

02 — I recently finished doula training for fun. I am a birth nerd and even recorded my birth stories on my favorite podcast, The Birth Hour.

Good food with a margarita in hand, over good conversation, is my love language.

Jacoby is simply the best. Hands down a phenomenal photographer and person. From our very first convo she made my husband and me feel so at ease. Her photos warm your heart, evoke emotion and capture the little moments that you want to remember for ages. If you want timeless yet artistic photos she is your photographer! She captures all of the big and small moments; in particular the moments that will have you saying “oh, I’m so happy someone caught this candid!”

It was really important for my husband and I to find a photographer for our wedding that was professional, made us feel comfortable in front of a camera, and produced insanely beautiful images to last a lifetime. That was Jacoby! Jacoby made us feel confident and calm on a day that was filled with nerves. Many of our friends and family even pointed out how amazing she was from their interactions. What’s even better is she’s a genuinely good person who cares about her clients.

Jacoby was so good to work with from start to finish! Scheduling a session on her website was so easy, she quickly responded and worked with us. Then, on our shoot day, she managed to capture gorgeous moments of my family, including a 1-year-old AND a dog. It was easy-going the whole time and so fun. After the shoot, our photos were turned around so quickly and I absolutely loved them! Her work does not disappoint and I'm so happy to have portfolio quality photos of my family!
