Anabeth and Kevin

Filed in Wedding  /  September 4, 2021 /

I’m finally sitting down to share Anabeth and Kevin’s Piper Palm House wedding and Missouri Botanical Garden reception!

Anabeth and Kevin were originally supposed to get married in July 2020, but like many other pandemic weddings, their wedding plans shifted. At last, they married on the most beautiful July day. When you think of a wedding 4th of July weekend, you expect a scorcher. However their day was lovely in the low 80s and absolutely gorgeous!

So many of Anabeth and Kevin’s guests traveled in to be with them for their wedding day. I loved hanging out with Anabeth and all of her friends, each through different seasons of her life. Some from when they were kids, some from medical school, etc.

Anabeth and Kevin had their first look and ceremony at Piper Palm House in Tower Grove Park. Tower Grove is one of their favorite parks in the city. Afterward, they held their Missouri Botanical Garden reception at the Spink Pavillion. As a photographer, I loved having the entire garden to ourselves for portraits. The light was unreal!

These two are so kind and lovely individuals. And they are so fun, too. They capped the night of our coverage with a choreographed dance. I can’t remember what all was in the mashup, but I know they danced to some T-Swift.
