Josie and Gerald

Last month, I documented Josie and Gerald’s Four Seasons St. Louis wedding with a dream team of wedding vendors. What a FUN wedding this was.

Josie and Gerald are both professional dancers, so the day was filled with candid lifts and spins (obviously I know the fancy terminology). Never in my career has a groom LIFTED his bride in the air during a first look and spun her around.

Josie and Gerald’s wedding day was filled with beautiful Jewish traditions and such special moments. They also had a pre-ceremony gathering where I witnessed the women in their families read words of love to Josie. It was so special to capture.

And with them being dancers meant that a lot of their friends were dancers, too. BEST RECEPTION EVER. I usually don’t capture this many reception photos, but I couldn’t stop finding fun moments through the evening. Lustre Lights band killed it and made the party so much fun. It was so hard to pack up and leave!

Josie and Gerald are so kind, and so so fun to know. I’m so glad they chose me as their wedding photographer. Their family and friends brought such great energy and love to the day, and I was lucky to be apart of it.
