Today I am so excited to share baby Rosie’s newborn photos on the blog! This Webster Groves newborn session was one of my firsts of the New Year, and she was the absolute cutest thing ever.
It’s been such a joy to document more families and newborn photos, both of my wedding clients and of new clients who are becoming parents for the first time. To be completely honest, years ago I used to not like taking newborn photos. That’s when I thought newborn photos had to be in a studio, in complex poses, with lots of props. However, I realized I can blaze my own path of what I want my newborn sessions to look like.
I love taking photos of people in their home, capturing what their life looks like presently, and getting photos of them loving on their new baby. It’s one of the sweetest times of my life and it’s such an honor to document that for others.
With becoming a mother myself, I’ve also found a totally new appreciation and perspective with newborn photos.
I can’t wait to capture more families in 2021!
