Kate and Steve

Kate and Steve’s SqWires wedding was perfect in every single way. Everyone was relaxed, the weather was absolutely perfect, and Kate and Steve are absolutely perfect together.

I first met Kate an Steve during their engagement session in their old apartment, of course alongside their dog Biscuit. If you didn’t know, one of our dogs’ names is Gravy. Biscuit and Gravy? They are also transplants to St. Louis like me. Me being their photographer was just meant to be.

Kate and Steve recently bought their home here in St. Louis, and they expressed how they’d like to do their first look on their front porch. I’m so glad they suggested it! They turned out adorable. And then they got to take some photos with Biscuit right after.

Before we headed to their ceremony, they and their wedding party went to Square One in Lafayette Square for a drink. Then they got married by the fountain next to SqWires. Steve surprised Kate by singing her a song with his guitar. It was absolutely beautiful. Cue the confetti!

The day was picturesque from start to finish. Macklin and I loved meeting all of their friends. Both Kate and Steve are beautiful together, and witnessing them together it was clear that they are such a fit. I’m so happy for these two and can’t wait to see what’s in store next for them!
