Dixie and Joey

Over Thanksgiving, I got together with Dixie and Joey for their holiday themed engagement session.

I have been friends with Dixie for years, so it’s safe to say I’ve been looking forward to the day where she found “the one.” I could not wait to photograph her! Dixie is one of the most beautiful people inside and out. I knew she deserved a catch, and I’m so happy to say that Joey is such a perfect match for her.

Dixie and Joey just completed a renovation on their first home, and it’s absolute perfection. It’s filled with beautiful natural light, tasteful decor, and of course holiday decorations. It was pure bliss to start off (and end) at their home. We took advantage of champagne along with dancing to Christmas music.

Downtown Decatur is beautiful this time of the year. It was perfect for Dixie’s vision of a holiday themed engagement session.

I’m so excited to shoot my two friends’ wedding in September!
