Rachel & Zach

Filed in Wedding  /  March 29, 2024 /

Today I am sharing Rachel and Zach’s winter Wild Carrot wedding! This was my last wedding of 2023!

Rachel and Zach are one of the kindest and chillest couples I’ve worked with. From the moment I arrived at the venue, I knew their wedding day would be relaxed and filled with a truly enjoyable day.

Not only that, it was a really beautiful winter day in December! Sometimes winter weddings can be brutal, but truly for a December winter wedding in St. Louis, it was lovely!

After taking photos at Wild Carrot,Tower Grove Park, and 21C Hotel for wedding photos, Rachel and Zach held their indoor ceremony at Wild Carrot in the Shaw neighborhood. As always some of my favorite moments from a wedding day are when I follow a couple after the ceremony. I never want to encroach on their privacy, but I also capture the, what I call, “holy shit we did it!” moments. Peep the shot with Zach looking at his ring, with Rachel by his side, biggest smile ever.

Rachel and Zach had the dreamiest winter decor in Wild Carrot, which was beautifully executed by Ashley and Elyse with AJ Coordinates! I always love working with them, as they make every wedding a breeze as a photographer, and fun in the slow parts of the day!

Despite the chill of outside, the atmosphere inside Wild Carrot was filled with warmth and joy as Rachel and Zach celebrated with family and friends.

And as their St. Louis wedding photographer, I felt grateful to have been able to capture the beauty and emotion of their winter Wild Carrot wedding.
