Anna and Chris

Anna and Chris hosted their Missouri History Museum wedding on Labor Day weekend. It was the most beautiful September day, and I loved spending the day with these two.

Anna was such a beautiful bride. Truly so, so gorgeous. After her getting ready in Dogtown and Chris at the Chase, they had a first look at Anna’s alma mater, Washington University. Under an archway, the two also shared notes with one another.

It’s not very often I shoot on Wash U’s campus, and every time I’m there I wonder why I don’t come there more often as the grounds are beautiful and the light is always *chefs kiss*.  Afterward, they and their wedding party headed to Forest Park’s Grand Basin area for more wedding party photos.

This was my first Missouri History Museum wedding and it was the perfect day for my first one there. Anna and Chris got married on the steps of the museum right before sunset, with their cocktail hour at golden hour.

As the night unfolded, Anna and Chris’ friends gave such heartfelt speeches (seriously a couple of the best I’ve heard) and danced the night away with their friends.

Thank you Anna and Chris for choosing me as your photographer. Such a pleasure to document this day for you both! xo
