Jess and Ryan

Jess and Ryan’s Piper Palm House and Wild Carrot wedding was absolute perfection. The first Saturday of September was gorgeous in every way, and I think every wedding vendor across St. Louis was singing their praises to Mother Nature! It’s not often we get such a gorgeous day in low 80s, no humidity, and so much sunshine.

Funny enough, I met Jess when she was my workout instructor here in South City! I also captured the wedding of some of her friends, too!

I’m so glad I got to shoot her and Ryan’s wedding for them, AND that she most importantly liked my work enough to ask me to!

Jess and Ryan are the epitome of a walking good time. They are goofy together and never seem to take life too seriously, in the best way. Ryan is always keeping Jess laughing. And you can tell they adore each other like crazy. They went in between laughing and crying tears of joy all day. The best kind of love.

Example? Ryan fooled Jess into thinking their friend in advertising needed them to model. They had some cocktails and had fun with it. She thought nothing of it. Turns out it was ALL a plot to make hilarious mock movie posters for the front of Wild Carrot.

The Notebook, check. Joe Dirt, check. And my favorite….Titanic. It says “a love story like no other…but this ship won’t sink y’all.” AMAZING.

The entire day was amazing, and we had a dream team of vendors to make it so special for them! I mean…my favorite donut shop Donut Drive-In was there, so that made this preggo very happy.
