Sarah and Brian

Filed in Wedding  /

I’m so happy to share Sarah and Brian’s Jefferson Underground wedding with you this evening!

Let me start by saying that the single best thing about my job as a photographer is the people that it brings into my life. Most of whom are phenomenal, kind people. And then I’m lucky when some of those people turn into sweet friends that I get to see after the wedding.

When I met Sarah over Ted Drewes ice cream in the sweltering St. Louis summer, we both realized we had the same kind of dog (see their awesome dog Charlie from their engagement session) and we both lived in Decatur (she went to school there). And she found me on Pinterest…I love how the world is so small. Since then we’ve shared our love over Broad City, the Avett Brothers, and dogs. Brian is equally as great and I am so so so happy to call these two friends.

This day was amazing, yet maybe a little hot being in the 90s in the fall. Nonetheless, it was laid-back, filled with people who love these two to death, good ass music, BBQ, and rooftop dancing under the twinkle lights. By the time the wedding day came, I would have wanted to show up and boogie with these two even if they fired me as their photog.

Congrats, Sarah and Brian! So thankful we could be there to celebrate with you both and to share in such special moments on your day. It’s the greatest honor.
