Ahhh, my sweet friend Julie is married! Julie and Kelly had their Monday Night Brewery wedding in Atlanta this past weekend. A quick flight to Atlanta landed me there, and I was just so happy to be there to celebrate alongside them. It had been years since I had seen her last, and I was so happy to hug her. And of course to finally meet the love of her life!
Julie and I met while attending SIU Carbondale as advertising majors. We were in the same small class, but it actually took us some time to finally talk. Once we did, we were fast friends. I have fond memories of us getting out of class and hitting up the cheap Mexican joint for afternoon margaritas. I love this girl and I missed her so much.
You love seeing your friends happy, of course. But when your friends are happiest they’ve ever been and they are getting married, it just makes you bust at the seams with happiness for them.
