Luke and Lauren

I am so, so excited to share Luke and Lauren’s Allerton Park wedding with you!

So a little backstory: I have been close friends with Lauren’s sisters Andrea and Cara since high school. In fact, Macklin and I officially met at their house in the summer of 2010. And then he actually asked me to be his girlfriend at Allerton Park. See the full circle yet?

With that being said, as long as I’ve known Andrea and Cara, Lauren and Luke have been together.  They started dating when Lauren was just 14 years old. I still remember years ago seeing photos of them on Myspace – HA! Flash forward all these years later, and here we were on their wedding day. It’s crazy how time flies.

When Lauren contacted me two months ago to shoot their wedding, I was all in. I photographed Andrea and Nick’s wedding two years ago, and with the love I have for the Scribner family, I knew I wanted to be there.

Despite having a long courtship, Lauren and Luke wasted no time. They were engaged and married in about eight weeks! The stars aligned with vendors and an Allerton Park wedding, and they invited about 50 closest of the close.

It was spectacular and intimate, and absolutely perfect for them.
